Hello everyone. Welcome to DashIGN! If you're here wondering how you can contribute to the site, here's a little guide!
Firstly, you must become a member. Once that's done you have two choices. 1) Edit an existing page. 2) Add a new page. Editing an existing page couldn't be simpler. Just click the EasyEdit button above the page, and you'll enter edit mode! From here you can do all sorts of things, including adding text, adding links, images and even widgets to the page. Experiment! No programming knowledge is needed. If you have any questions, just ask here and the staff here will be glad to assist you in any way we can. But don't expect us to know everything, we are still new to this system. But we'll still do whatever we can to help. Alternatively, you can add a new page altogether. This is a little more difficult, but once you get used to it, it will be a breeze. First pick a suitible category. Let's use 'Nonsense' for example. Click on 'Nonsense' on the sidebar to enter the Nonsense page. On the page toolbox to the right, click 'Add a new page'. Here you will be asked to enter a page location (by default it will be the category you're in, in this example we don't have to change it), a page name (make sure you get this right the first time, because you will probably have to delete the page to re-do it) and a template (in this case, blank). From here you can edit the page as you please, as explained in the previous paragraph. It couldn't be easier. We appreciate your willingness to contribute to the site, and with that, have fun! And please don't refrain to ask any questions you may have.
